Music & Lyrics
Music, it’s the one consistent thing in my life. I wake in the morning and turn on my radio/iPod while I get ready for my day, I rock out in my vehicle, I feel calm and centered at work while I have something to listen to, when I get home in the evening and am making supper or house cleaning I find its more pleasant while rocking out, and of course my iPod goes with me on a dog walk! Music, it’s often the cure for putting my emotions into words. I once knew a guy in university that said “the hardest thing in life to do is put your emotions into words”, for me that rang so true and has stuck in my memory.
As I mentioned before I get most of my music from our local library and upload them to my computer(s). I have recently gotten back into buying CD’s, got to love HMV for their frugal CD’s ($5-10). I haven’t really gotten into iTunes and downloading MP3’s, for me there is something about having the physical CD in hand… and I don’t find the prices to be any better.
So without further ado this is what I’m loving these days:
